Prof. Dr Jelena Nikolić completed both undergraduate and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, where she also specialised in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. She gained many years of clinical experience at the Clinic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, with continuous operating room work and teaching responsibilities with students.

In her academic career, she currently holds the title of associate professor and head of the Department of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad.

She further trained at clinics in Rome, Madrid, Naples and Rio de Janeiro, learning from leading world experts in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, such as Prof. Dr Ivo Pitanguy, Prof. Dr Fabio Santanelli, Prof. Dr Michele Pascali, Prof. Dr Jose Luis Martin del Yerro, and others.

In her daily clinical work, she performs reconstructive procedures in the fields of hand surgery and skin tumours, aesthetic breast corrections, abdominoplasty, eyelid corrections, temporal lifting and other facial lifting procedures.

She is a regular lecturer at national and international congresses and has additionally trained in non-surgical aesthetic procedures such as fillers, botulinum toxin, PRP treatments, collagen biostimulators, and chemical peels.

She is a member of the Serbian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SRBPRAS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).
