Dr Ljiljana Trifunović graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Novi Sad, where she enrolled in a specialisation programme in gynaecology and obstetrics in 2006. She completed her internship at the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, after which she worked in emergency medical services at health centres in Bečej and Inđija.

After completing her specialisation, she worked as a gynaecologist-obstetrician at the Health Centre Novi Sad. Since 2012, she has been employed at the Clinic for Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Clinical Centre of Vojvodina, in the family planning department.
