Primarius Dr Senka Milutinov Ilić graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad in 2003. She completed her master’s studies in internal medicine in 2009, and her doctoral studies in 2015, thereby obtaining the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences. She completed her specialisation in internal medicine in 2011, and her subspecialisation in pulmonology in 2016. Based on her years of clinical and scientific work, she was awarded the title of primarius in December 2023.

She spent most of her career at the Institute for Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina at the Clinic for Emergency Pulmonology (2006–2021), and later worked as an internal medicine physician and subspecialist in pulmonology at the MediGroup Health Centre in Novi Sad (2021–2024).

She has participated in numerous clinical studies and projects of national and international importance, as well as in the development of professional and scientific publications. She holds the prestigious international European Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine (HERMES), awarded by the European Respiratory Society. She is a member of the Medical Chamber of Serbia, the Association of Physicians of Vojvodina, the Pneumo-Phthisiology Section of Vojvodina, the Respiratory Society of Serbia, the European Respiratory Society (ERS), the Association of Patients with Pulmonary Hypertension, and the International CTEPH Association.
