Dr Kristina Ivković Šunjka graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad, where she also completed her master’s degree and specialisation in gynaecology and obstetrics. As part of her professional development, she undertook further training at the School of Colposcopy in Belgrade and the Ian Donald School of Ultrasound in Zagreb.

She gained work experience at the Health Centre in Bačka Palanka and the Health Centre in Novi Sad, where she is currently employed in the Women’s Healthcare Service. She participates in professional conferences and training events both in Serbia and abroad, and she is a member of the Medical Chamber of Vojvodina. She has a particular interest in improving women’s health education, which she also addressed in her master’s thesis.
